Vision Therapy can help patients of all ages, with a variety of diagnoses and symptoms including convergence insufficiency, strabismus (eye(s) turn), amblyopia (lazy eye(s)), autism spectrum, sensory processing disorder, myopia progression, and dizziness. Therapy can relieve visual symptoms post-concussion or traumatic brain injury, and can develop visual skills to support academics and sports vision.
Most children think that everyone sees the same way they do, so it is important for parents to know the signs and symptoms of some of the more common vision problems. There are physical clues that point to possible vision disorders, but surprisingly, many of the symptoms that would indicate a person is having vision problems seem entirely unrelated to vision. Yet, these symptoms are manifested as a direct result of a vision dysfunction. For an in-depth symptoms checklist, click here.
